    Powerful women run in Braylinn’s family. Braylinn has gained confidence through the women in her life. Whether it is from a mom raising four kids, or a cousin who survived cancer. Braylinn knows how to push through tough times, when dealing with a back and knee injury during volleyball and track season. Braylinn is passionate about fighting for Leukemia Awareness. Hosting Orange Night, providing blanket drives, and creating hospital care baskets, Braylinn is an advocate to spread the word about Leukemia. Braylinn works hard at her job at the Veterinary clinic in her hometown, pursuing the goal of opening her own veterinary practice in the future.

    KATHRYN WOEHLKE

    Kathryn Woehlke is a leader, entrepreneur, and advocate. A student at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, she earned a DECA State Championship in Entrepreneurship and Dean’s Scholarship. She dedicated over 100 hours to community service, excelled in talent competitions, and empowered others through mentorship. She’s a published co-author of an Amazon-Bestseller, Top 100 podcast host, alumnus of Global Youth Leadership Summit, and TBI survivor. Kathryn is a proud member of Phi Gamma Nu professional fraternity and Kappa Kappa Gamma social sorority. From leading nonprofit marketing initiatives to interning at high-growth startups, Kathryn’s passion, drive, and impact continue to inspire.

    Maria is currently attending Indiana Academy, a school that excels in academics and community outreach. She is proud to be the recipient of her school’s Junior Rising Star Award and has completed over 150 volunteer hours this year. Maria enjoys modeling, piano, reading, knitting, tennis and especially traveling abroad, where she tests her fluency in the Russian and French languages. In addition, she holds the rank of Cadet Chief Master Sergeant as a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Breaking stereotypes while being fearless and limitless gives her the confidence to apply for the title of Miss Indiana Teen USA.

    Kaelin Broad, 17, is a proud Carmel, Indiana, resident with deep Southern roots in Atlanta, Georgia. A 2024 state champion varsity cheerleader at Carmel High School, she is also involved in the Black Student Alliance and African History Club. Passionate about fashion, jewelry, and cooking,

    Kaelin founded TheSingleMomsProject to support single mothers, inspired by her own upbringing. Her goal this year is to connect with 100 single moms, offering encouragement and community. She also advocates for youth mental wellness, raises awareness about autoimmune diseases, and champions Black empowerment, using her platform to make a meaningful impact.

    Kiersten Alvarado believes that while outer beauty attracts, inner beauty truly captivates. As the founder of Captivating Confidence, she helps young girls develop self-worth through self-care initiatives and confidence-building programs. Once struggling to embrace her natural curls, she now inspires others to love themselves fully. A dedicated cheerleader and talented violinist, she shines both on stage and on the sidelines. Passionate about giving back, she actively volunteers at food pantries, school fundraisers, and serves up smiles at her local Italian market. A future psychiatrist, Kiersten is committed to empowering youth and making a lasting impact on mental health and self-confidence.

    Tessa Morgan is a high school sophomore and has been training in ballet since she was three years old. Through her platform, Voices for Tourette’s, she advocates for Tourette Syndrome awareness while championing respect and kindness for all. An active member of her school's psychology club, she excels academically and promotes mental health awareness. Tessa is also a signed model who has found success and enjoyment in the industry. Additionally, she works as a lifeguard and swim coach, embracing the opportunity to connect with others daily. Her dedication to advocacy, academics, and the arts shapes her inspiring journey.

    Organized, resilient, and artistic are three words that describe Grace Miller, a junior at Homestead High School. For the past 12 years, she has been a competitive dancer while simultaneously advocating for Arts Programs nationwide with her platform, ‘L.E.A.P for Joy.’ Traveling the country and checking off her bucket list, having visited 21 states and counting, her most notable adventure was Mount Kilauea in Hawaii while it was on the verge of erupting! With ambitions to become a world-class anesthesiologist and travel abroad to Europe as a proud Latin student, this dreamer is ready to lead globally and locally.

    CHARLOTTE SCARLATOS

    Charlotte is a freshman at Indiana Wesleyan University, pursuing a degree in Multimedia Communications with aspirations of a career in television broadcasting. Her passion for storytelling and leadership grew as a horsemanship instructor at Culver Summer Schools and Camps, where she embraced mentorship. She is deeply committed to advocating for children with disabilities, especially her younger brother Matthew, who has autism. She founded Smile Love Charlotte, collecting over 1,000 toothbrushes for low-income families, and is learning American Sign Language to connect with the Deaf community. As Miss Indiana Teen USA, she will strive to empower young women, raise breast cancer awareness, and promote early detection while upholding her core values.

    Shae Punzal is the 2024-2025 Indiana DECA State President and a dedicated leader passionate about business, marketing, and public health advocacy. She has spoken with legislators about initiatives to address youth nicotine and tobacco use through her work with VOICE Indiana. Beyond DECA, Shae is a Varsity cheerleader, social media content creator, and youth advocate. She is also deeply interested in economics, psychology, and real estate. With a strong commitment to leadership and personal growth, Shae strives to inspire others and create a lasting impact in her community.

    Whitney is a senior at Floyd Central High School and will attend the University of Louisville in the fall to pursue a degree in business. As a competitive dancer, she thrives on pushing her limits and staying active. She is also a dedicated sports fan, with a special love for hockey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, giving back through her nonprofit, Whitney’s Wings, and spending Saturdays watching sports with her dad. Whether she’s playing golf with her family or embracing new challenges, she stays active, engaged, and always ready for new opportunities.

    Katlyn Thomas, a 15 year old and the first to represent her home town Madison at Miss IN Teen USA. She enjoys softball, cheer, dance, drawing, playing with her dog Sophie, and hanging out with her cousins. She is a member of pep club, FFA, and an officer in the 9/10 JAG program at MCHS. After high school she plans to attend the University of Florida to study marine biology as well as pursue acting. Using her platform Awareness today healthier tomorrow brings attention to the negative effects of mental health using her own experience with PTSD and depression.

    Gia Jania, from the small town of Westville with a population of just 5,000, has embraced her role as a leader and role model for future generations. Her journey of mentorship and empowerment began on the volleyball court but extends far beyond athletics. A dedicated leader, standout college volleyball player, and class president of the Class of 2024, Gia exemplifies excellence in academics and leadership, advocating for student engagement and growth. As your next Indiana Teen USA, she wants to continue empowering young women across the state, using her platform to inspire confidence, resilience, and ambition. Beyond leadership and athletics, Gia is a strong advocate for teen mental health, striving to break stigmas and provide support for those in need. With unwavering determination, she continues to uplift and motivate, proving that hard work, purpose, and compassion can lead to success in all areas of life.

    Elena Kimani is a dedicated Freshman at Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Discovering her passion for dance at 3, Elena has grown into a leader on her dance team and her dance studio.She envisions moving to LA, signing with a premier agency, and launching a career as a professional dancer and model. Additionly, She's an avid photographer, capturing sunsets in citites she visits. Equally passionate to uplift her community, she serves as a brand ambassador for Dancers Against Cancer. She embodies the message “You can do hard things,” her journey motivates others to pursue their dreams with determination.

Kirsten is also really involved in her community, always looking for ways to help out and make a difference. When she's not on the field or studying, you can find her shopping and keeping up with the latest trends. Kirsten’s energy and positive attitude light up everything she does!

She also advocates for increasing global competency, starting with local action by promoting multilingual education and improving literacy within the U.S. With positivity, ambition, and compassion, she inspires others to take that first step toward personal growth and contribute to a more connected and inclusive future.

    Lydia Quinn is a senior at Union High School and Gymnastics Teacher at Tuck Dynasty. She is an advocate with her movement The Melissa Project where she tells her story of overcoming child abuse and provides resources for other victims. As a 10 year dancer and lover of performance, she is ready to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. She is empathic, creative, and determined and is so excited to be representing Sullivan county on the Indiana Teen USA stage.

    Hannah Parker, 18, is the reigning Vanderburgh County Teen USA and an accomplished All-American cheerleader. A graduate of Signature School, she is now a freshman at the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in public relations and advertising. Passionate about performing, she is also an actress with a deep love for all things Disney. Hannah comes from a large family of nine, shaping her into a dedicated and hardworking individual. With a vibrant personality and strong ambition, she continues pursuing her dreams in the entertainment and communications industries while inspiring others with her charisma and determination.
